The Road to Recovery
There really is hope
How It All Began
My name is Annie, and this is my story.
Steps Recovery Centers have been helping addicts in the Utah area for over 6 years by providing full physical, emotional, and family rehabilitation, and by offering permanent solutions to the disease of addiction. As the newest division of Steps, Annie’s House is the completion of a life circle for me. When I was younger, I went through years of terrible misfortune and bad decision-making that led to my dependence on pain medications and eventually daily heroin use. When I approached my father for help, who had recently been treated for his problems with addiction, he was able to help me find the best residential treatment available.
Annie’s House is a Steps Recovery facility exclusively for and run by women.
During that time, he became passionate about improving on the techniques and programs we experienced. He started Steps Recovery Centers, treatment facilities that offer affordability, full family healing, and a lifetime care guarantee. Through our success in helping people at Steps, we determined together the need for a women-only facility where women could get help with addictions, issues that arise because of body image, issues with relationship, and more. Annie’s House is a safe place for women to get the help they need. It is the complete approach to recovery that I would have like to have had years ago.
Located in Draper, Utah, Annie’s House is a private, secluded residential home that has gorgeous views of the mountains, and, true to our vision, it is exclusively for women who need recovery help. It is also administered by women—women clinicians and women expert staff. We implement the 12-step approach to recovery in order to help women achieve emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental wellness. We also follow the Step Recovery philosophy that addiction is a family disease, and we work with loved ones to provide tools for family healing.
Take it from someone who knows first-hand: Addiction is powerful, and it is real. But there really is hope. If you are a woman who has addictions or other serious issues, I plead with you to get help right now. Annie’s House is ready to receive you today with a program just for you, and we promise to treat you with the respect you deserve. You and your family will receive the help of a support team who is there to ensure a stable transition back to a joyful, independent life.
